It was the opportunity of a lifetime for Samuel Foxx.
He had seen Xax's work in many movies before, and was a huge fan of the oft-villainous dragon's roles. Xax pulled off the menacing inclinations so perfectly that he almost didn't recognize the crimson-and-ivory drake between roles. Were it not for the recognizable patterning of red scales, white scutes, gold trio of spots on both sides of his neck, and the electric blue frill to identify him, the sea-blue fox wouldn't have known.
So to be standing here, waiting for the drake's PRIVATE BUS to pick him up was literally a dream come true for the azure, electricity-generating vulpine. He wore a rubber suit most of the time to control his constant generation of energy, but its design made him look like a 90's superhero.
Not that he was complaining. Foxx thoroughly enjoyed the idea and actually did have a little bit of super-ability with his budding control over his body's ever-present electricity. But not even the rubber suit could contain the sparks that flew when he saw the bus com over the rise. He had to actually place a hand on his heart and take a few deep breathes in a semi-futile effort to calm himself.
But when the navy-blue bus pulled up to the curb and the door opened, Foxx's vision swam as he saw the red-and-white bulk come lumbering down the stairwell. He managed to blink it away as a smile plastered on his face, prompting him to walk forward almost as if his feet were moving of their own accord.
"Xacharias Ellan!" Foxx said, extending his paw in greeting as the drake landed on the tarmac.
"Please, call me Xax," he said, smiling as he grasped Foxx's paw in his own claws. "It's a pleasure to meet one of my biggest fans."
Foxx didn't even try to resist letting his gaze wander over Xax's chubby form. The Japanese dragon stood a good foot taller than him, which would've been imposing had he not been a bit on the chubby side. His gut stuck out a solid foot, minutely pressing into his legs but otherwise not staunching his mobility.
Of course, being a lightning elemental dragon such as Xax in a world of electrical life, there was always the possibility of quickly losing that. And Foxx was currently plotting how to achieve...
"Heheh, like what you see, big boy?" Xax said, pulling Foxx's attention back to the drake. But instead of flushing with embarrassment as most would do, Foxx smiled flirtatiously.
"It could use some work," he teased.
"And I bet you'd love to aid in that, huh?" Xax said, clapping Foxx's back as he guided him into the bus. "But that'll have to wait for a little later, I think. You didn't win no competition just to tease me, let's get the ball rolling on today."
The bus was rather luxurious, Foxx soon found. With more than plentiful pillows of the most extreme plushness, cushions of the softest quality, and seating that made one feel like they were sitting on a throne of comfort, there was no lack of seating to be had. It had the makings of a stereotypical celebrity bus otherwise, with a mini-bar, a TV set into one side, so on and so forth.
As Foxx and Xax took seats across each other on separate couches, the driver shifted the vehicle into gear and it started to move through Foxx's town. He lived one county over from Shrubgrove, the country's definitive center for movie-making. Foxx sighed with a deeply relaxed sound as Xax maneuvered his girth opposite. The big drake flopped back with a grunt, his belly lurching and heaving over his thighs as the organ forced him to splay his legs apart. Foxx found his breath hitching as he watched Xax's belly slowly settle and spill over his lap, subtly undulating from the leftover momentum and rippling with the movements of the van.
"So, hope you don't mind me asking," Xax said, barely pulling Foxx's attention from his gut, "but what was my first movie you saw?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, I still remember it fondly, but it was 'Kurigama's Dread,'" Foxx said.
"Ah, that was one of my earliest movies, that was a great experience for me," Xax chuckled, making a visible effort to cross his legs but seemingly remembering his belly's bigness and returned his foot to the ground. "I thoroughly enjoyed making it, though, the guy that plays Kurigama is actually a legit Yokai Tankyu-sha, but oft times the spirits he finds are pretty chill. It's a lot like those of the living, especially this one time he was seeking..."
Xax sat a little more forward as he related his story, pressing his belly over his knees and prompting a quiet hiss of excitement from Foxx as he witnessed it. The folds and roils of the lardy filler made for a pleasurable showing that Foxx wasn't afraid of showing his love for. Xax seemingly didn't notice, though it could be argued he did as one of his paws slid over his stomach's surface and idly stroked it with deep, fat-crimping presses that only further jiggled the weighty scales. Foxx watched with interest, hearing Xax's story but his eyes only being for the belly as it quivered and vellicated softly under Xax's touch.
Foxx wished to be the one giving that rub, though.
"...and to this day, we still call him 'Radical Larry,'" Xax said finishing a story about a time he had been cleared to visit some scientific facility that dealt in the paranormal. "As long as you don't stare at his face, you'll be fine, though."
"Oooo, sounds super creepy," Foxx said, lifting his eyes to meet Xax's. "You sound like you've had an adventurous life as a movie star."
"Indeedy," Xax said, laughing softly, "though it can be a bit boring, as I'm more-often living it up as a bachelor. I get the opportunity to meet so many people, but sometimes wonder what it'd feel like to have a mate."
Foxx noticed a touch of sadness pulling at Xax's features as the drake stared out the window. Concerned, he got up from his seat and plopped down beside the big electric dragon, leaning against his side. Xax looked down at the vulpine cuddle-buddy with minor surprise, but immediately smiled and lay his paw on Foxx's head. While he was double Foxx's height, Xax still felt the attempted embrace around his middle as if it encircled him completely. No words were exchanged, they didn't have to be, as Xax willingly submitted himself to Foxx's snuggles.
Involuntarily, Foxx began to spark a small amount. But it was enough to arc from him, despite his insulation suit, and zap against Xax. The electric Japanese dragon felt each little shock as a warm tickle. From the discharges into him, Xax's body blimped up minutely as his body's natural energy storage kicked in. He resisted wriggling in delight as he felt his belly fatten and deluge farther forward and side-ways, save he would accidentally knock Foxx away. The addition of energy-bound adipose wasn't much, somewhere around an inch overall, but it was enough that he felt it.
Leaning over, Xax rubbed Foxx's head as they continued snuggling, the bus carrying them through the gates of the studio. It was going to be a great day!
"You ever LARP before?"
The question was so sudden that Foxx froze mid-bite on his hoagie. He turned his gaze towards Xax, who was idly spinning his spaghetti. They were in a back-stage buffet, so the duo had it all to themselves.
"C-can't say I really have," Foxx said, proceeding to take a bite as Xax nodded.
"Because I've been thinking about that electricity-generating trick you showed me. It seems super handy," said Xax, taking another bite of his noodles. He tilted his head back and swallowed, rubbing his tummy with scale-squishing presses.
"Well, it's not so much a 'trick' as it is a natural body process, heh," Foxx said, setting his sandwich down as he raised his hands in explanation. "It's not so much as what a battery does as it would be my body having hamsters running on wheels attached to a generator. My body gathers energy from the environment immediately around me and focuses the electrons into electric power. What were you thinking of doing with that, though?"
Despite asking, Foxx thought he already knew the answer. Seeing how Xax could absorb, store, and release electricity as fatty tissue...
"Let's just say, I have a personal project that the studio is still on the fence about," Xax said, "but with your help, they may approbate it yet."
"And what, pray tell, does this 'project' require of me?" Foxx cooed.
"Why, of course," said Xax, leaning forward with a sly grin, "only that you LARP a scene of an adventure movie similar to 'Illinois Jack.' The original Illi is even going to be there for it."
"The treasure hunter herself!? Seriously!?" Foxx said.
"The one and only," came a new voice from the doorway. Foxx turned around and saw the owner of the voice as a very-recognizable Kadabra lady, even wearing the classic vest and backwards cap. She was a bit aged since the original trilogy, but her iconic star-shaped face-mark over her left eye was unmistakable as was her distinct body-color of silvery bronze.
"Xaxy dear," Illinois Jack said, THE ONE AND ONLY ILLINOIS JACK FOXX WAS TRYING SO HARD TO NOT FANBOY IN FRONT OF HER, as she walked over to their table and leaned against Xax with a hug.
"Illi baby, how's life been treating you?" Xax said.
"Been okay, a little slow since our last endeavor together that you tried," Illi said, pulling back and bringing up a chair that she sat on. She was around the same height as Foxx, but slouched back in her seat a little. In doing so, the senior (but still young by Kadabra standards) anthro displayed her abdomen, unbuttoning several of the lower ones as she sighed in relief. Instead of the toned muscles Foxx expected her to have from the high activity of her movies, her gut was a noticeable dome. Now that he noticed, Foxx saw that her bosom was also bigger by a little.
When you watch classic movies over and over to the point of complete memorization of the dialogue, you tend to notice things. Such as the spread of her vest under the stress of her bosom's size was a little wider.
"So... what will *this* endeavor include, then?" Foxx asked, hoping his eagerness wouldn't be construed as the anxious anticipation of working with not one, but TWO of his favorite actors of all time. Which it actually was, but he didn't want to be seen as a gushing, stereotypical fanboy that they likely got in spades daily.
"Just a simple scene," Xax said, "where Illi and I discover an ancient, slumbering god that grants the gift of..."
*********
"...generosity," said Foxx, decked out in a garb of lavish design and his voice commanding. He was currently sitting upon a throne that was nearly too wide for him to use the arm-rests, but the ample flood of his robes more than made up for his slight frame. He wasn't wearing his insulation suit at Xax's request, making him slightly uncomfortable without it. But he continued on with his role. "A gift that is only receivable by one being. Pray thee send hither thine tribute to receive it."
Clothed in archaeologist apparel, Foxx would've been lying if he didn't say that Xax looked simply adorable. He did wonder where he managed to get custom-made clothing to fit his tall and somewhat-wide stature, but it was movieland, and not all that surprising. Role-play came easily for Xax and Illi, as was evident in the normally-confident, villain-playing Xax cautiously ambling forward and convincingly twiddling his thumb-claws. Illi held her hands on her hips with a clear expression of pride in her "student" receiving a gift from deities. Her character's backstory had been she trained Xax's character from a hatchling after having found his egg abandoned. For the character to see her protege experiencing what she had on a lesser scale years ago was a point of fulfillment for her.
"H-h-here I am, my liege," Xax said, "Y-your tribute is ready."
Foxx had to physically restrain himself from squealing loudly in a mixture of fanboying over Xax's supreme acting and endearment for his extreme shyness in-character. Rather, the azure vulpine stood, his robes flowing as he stepped forward to place a hand on the tiny slit of ivory plates between his vest and pants.
"And thine endowment is as thus," Foxx said, trying to keep from laughing at the ridiculous wordage of his role. But nonetheless, he continued with the role and allowed his body's electricity to dance and arc from him, molting his inhibitions.
The effect on Xax's body was immediate. The strip of scales and plates between his shirt and pants widened into an inch-wide band as his gut grew out. His vest rode up as his belt visibly squeezed into his gut, forcing it to spill out over it. Xax visibly strained against it, ditching the shock and horror he earlier decided on in favor of the sheer enjoyment of the sensations throbbing through him.
"Yes, young one, embrace it," Foxx said, "let the fervor of sainthood fill your being!"
Xax's belly unapologetically jutted out now, a solid half-foot of distance from its original girth. Xax's knees disappeared under the deluge of lipid-swollen tummy. Increasing in avoirdupois by the second, it wasn't long before Xax's stance was forced wider, and the dragon hobbled as he spread his legs out. Just as he did, the crackle of snapping threads signaled the beginning of his loss of shorts. After a moment of symphonious tears, Foxx stopped for a moment and stepped around to Xax's side. As he positioned himself by the drake's swollen thigh, which was tearing through the seams of his shorts to reveal the crimson scales beneath, he took note that Xax's belly now had an ever-present jiggle from its amplified girth. Reaching back to the union of squish between Xax's thighs and lightly-fattened buttocks, he pressed his paws into the drake's thigh.
"Allow the power of your calling to greaten your stature and anchor your resolve," Foxx said, pouring more energy into his arms.
