~ This is a poem I wrote about the strenght of a Furry's love for their mate. The story is that the country the mates were living in broke out into a Civil War, the female on one side, the male on the other. When the female's side found out that her mate held a high position in the other government, they threatened her life for the information that would lead them to catch him. When she refused, they killed her. ~
