This is how normal badges will look from now on! The rings attaching the name are to allow the name to be removed or replaced if the name changes or the owner sells the character and it needs a new name plate! I've never seen another artist do this, but I am glad I thought of it because it will allow so much convenience and won't affect or damage the artwork.
