I know it's odd to dress someone as big as  lionor as a stocky character, but everything else makes sense. It doesn't matter that he lacks finesse and agility, because everything about the character revolves around muscle and strength. He dual-wields heavy hammers and axes, performs wrestling moves on enemies, makes himself bigger to boost his defense, and tosses giant monsters like feathers. Luckily, he's one of the good guys.
