As a radio broadcaster, the best piece of advice I was ever given was 'smile, because the audience can hear it.' The idea goes that an audience can see when you're enjoying yourself simply through the way you present your work. This is what I thought when I first played Stories: The Path of Destinies. The game was a joy to play, simply because of the raw amount of love that was evident in every part of it, from the dialogue to the art design to the characters.
Drawing Reynardo took...some patience. I've gone through a good three interpretations of the picture in the attempt to get it looking alright in the face of dismal, mutated, broken perspective-ridden failure. But, in the spirit of the game I just kept on persisting, learning something new each time until the pieces fell into place. A rather ironic production process, all things considered.
"Sometimes, Reynardo really hated inanimate objects"
