Note: Had to resubmit. This thing hates me, I swear.

My attempt at gushi (古诗) poetry, even though it's with modern Chinese rather than the classical words its supposed to use.

I'm totally a novice at stuff like that, so if you know better than I do, please be nice if it's breaking every damn rule in the book. I know that:
These types of poems have 5-7 character long lines.
There's an even number of lines.
Every second line must rhyme.

If I'm missing something, if you know, then please tell me nicely so I don't get too discouraged.

So on to my actual comments about this poem: Even though the weather was nice today, it's been very rainy and cold over the past two months (duh... winter). When I was sitting here, listening to music, suddenly an image of a shipwrecked boat jumped into my head and struck me as inspiration. It lead to this. Yay.
