Pondering, about the life I live now and the life I once had.
The sadness and joy runs threw my body like fire over dry brush.
Why do I feel like a perennial failure at everything I do
Have I really made the right choices, what do you do when you can no longer tell the difference between whats good and whats right?
When will I be smart enough to figure these things out?
I guess only time will tell me eventually for these questions.
I just wish I knew now..

Thats deep bro, I try not to think of that stuff because it takes away from what we have now... I just see us all as comets, we may not burn as bright or as long as some others but its all about the impact we make with other people, in the end thats what really lasts...
but I do agree with your point... of pie... slice of life right there :)

...and into the light!
My my Fireny, you've made a pithy, prodding point. All of us humans, every single one of us, we've all got conscience, testifying to us with deep spiritual groaning that present us knowledge of good and evil. I'm glad you've taken the courage, the heart and the resolve to seek the answers and to think strongly with your heart as well as your brain. Its good of you to question your own actions, lifestlye, and motivations, to see from the evidence whether they do good and bring peace, or whether they just shut people away from eachother's hearts. I pray you keep that spiritual inquisitiveness within yourself, because trust me, learning the full truth, and being able to live a free life with no self-deception or addiction...that kind of life is greater than any riches or royalties in this world.
So nice of you to present this piece to us Fireny, my regards to wakabee for drawing it.
Goodbye and God Bless.
