Joey belongs to me

This art was done as part of a charity YCH for the victims of the Pulse shooting in Orlando. 49 people, whose names will not be forgotten, died while they were having a fun time in a space that was supposed to be a safe haven of self-expression for them.

It drives home that being proud of who you are is still an act of radical opposition. Non-binary genders, too, often go invisible to the rest of the world, which is why this particular pic warms my heart. Joey wearing a bandana, donning the colours of the non-binary flag. I am demimale, I am non-binary. My existence is radical, and I am proud.

So to answer the age old question "Are you a boy or a girl?": Partially.
