So yeah, I bought the movie a couple of days ago. Seen it twice already... A certain someone has seen it about 10 times in a row since we got it *cough Yuki *cough. So here's the mandatory fanart. came late to the party, but I was counting the days for the bluray release since I hate going to theaters.
What can I say? Honestly I knew I was going to love it, but I wasn't expecting the movie to be so... darn amazing. Like it really blew my mind and these characters have embedded themselves deep in my heart.
I could write a whole essay on why I loved the movie to the very last detail, but I will just keep it simple. Beautiful animation, character designs, accuracy, attention to detail, cliche story yet very well told; this movie owned it. Also, originality and heart-warming emotions even when we live in a very cold-hearted and artificial society these days.
And man, the universe that the writers created here... This must not end in one movie. This deserves to be extended either through sequels or the classic "Let's make it into an animated tv series" Disney thing.
The story changed a lot since the very old first trailer I saw, when Nick was the protagonist, so that surprised me a bit. But still, I loved it. Judy, she's absolutely adorable. What a wonderful character. And Nick, he's very charming and despite he doesn't really interact that much in the whole movie, he manages to grab you.
I really underestimated this movie and what humans could create based on animals... Well done.
... Oh and... those super SEXY dancing tigers at the end... Damn...
... sorry XD
Anyway, here's your mandatory Zootopia fanart. Tried something different here. I was going for the original style for a change, but I couldn't resist to blend in some of my own, without making them look like Evos. Really pleased with how it turned out. Their outfits were a lot of fun to draw and color!

UH OH, I think you have a case of..."THE TIGER DANCER CRUSH~"
Don't worry, lot's of people around here have it, it's spreading like wildfire, but don't worry, you'll be perfectly fine! I'm totally a professional internet doctor XP
In all seriousness though, I love how you used thin lines for the character outlines rather than thick ones, it looks nice!

I was WONDERING if you had actually seen it!!
(I may have watched it in theatres... three or four times... And got the blu-ray as well... And watched it several more times...) QwQ
I absolutely love the attention to detail. The minute detail that struck me the most was a tiger that yawned in the blurred out background of a scene, and they totally used real tiger noises. x3
I too could go on forever about the movie, but instead I'm just going to rave about your arts instead! FANTASTIC job on adapting the characters to your style! (And great job on Officer Toot-Toot!)
