This is actually an older character of mine I have been revisiting... a super powered villain who is more like a henchman for hire rather than an actual super villain. He is an albino ferret with the power to create copies of himself at will. I took inspiration from
FrankieAncelotti cause he has the best weasels and super suit things. I wanted to keep his design more straightforward and easy to draw...looks more super hero-y...and easier to draw cause he is just a guy who copies himself.
Cameron Fodder is the clone of a lab assistant who was working on a digital teleporter experiment. The real Cam realized that with how neatly a person's data was organized and stored for the digital teleporter, and he figured that he could edit out all his personality traits that he didn't like in himself. So he did that, hoping to make himself a better person, but when he put on the digital teleporter harness and teleported himself, he was shocked to find a copy of himself back at his original position. This clone was a culmination of all the stuff he wanted to get rid of in himself.... so this copy was loud, attention needing, inattentive, kind of silly, bumbling, and kind of dimwitted.
But this clone ran off before the lab assistant could do anything about it.... with a copy of the digital teleporter. Now whenever this digital clone, now calling himself Cameron Fodder, uses his teleporter, he appears in a nearby line of sight location, but he leaves another copy of himself where he was standing.... allowing any of his copies to replicate themselves. All instances of Cameron Fodder are digital copies, and will vanish upon sustaining significant damage or coming in contact with a strong magnet, dissolving into static... Each clone can only last for about 12 hours before evaporating into static, so he constantly has to make more copies of himself to stay in existence. Any Cameron will also vanish if his teleporter pack is removed, but he has a small field generator he can set up to allow him to walk around in a small area without his teleporter pack, this allows him to shower and change clothes. Anything on his person is also copied when he copies himself, but if it leaves contact it immediately vanishes, so he can copy his clothes but not money, because once he lets go of said money it would vanish. The memories and experiences of any clone destroyed, or willingly dismissed, are instantly shared among all clones currently in existence. This allows him to learn things extremely fast and work as a great guardsman. He is extremely smart, but dimwitted and impatient.... he is typically more useful as just a grunt or thief henchman for a bigger villain.
Despite his attitude, Cameron is troubled and insecure, largely for him being a disposable and temporary copy created from the thrown away personality traits of his original and real person. He might not want to, but he thinks he has to be a badguy, and that no one wants him. Thankfully, super powered guys are in popular demand, so he has some use to any villains or criminals looking for extra hands.

I imagine his method of copying is probably reliable enough to go for a while without problems...but he does have his data stored in that backpack and in a backup field generator thing, so he can be safe like that....though if a clone is damaged or anything I guess he does copy his current state, so if a clone covered in paint copies itself that one would have paint too
