this was a pic drawn for an anime fanart contest about the topic "cute and fluffy". My pic was printed in the magazine that arranged the contest but I didn´t win.^^

that means much to me. Yeah I really loved the comic and cartoon styles from the 80s and early 90s. It was part of my childhood too.
Maybe my style reminds you of this time decade because my idols in cartoon and comic art had their best time in the 80 like Glen Keane from Walt Disney studios who drew the little Mermaid Arielle and the Beast and also the comic artist Wendy Pini, creator of my favorite comic book series "Elfquest"
I copied their style very often as a kid and maybe somehow their styles added to my own skills.

I've seen that series a few times on Youtube, a rather good one which it's a pity that it's rather obscure and also a pity you didn't win as I think you did a really nice job in invoking cute and fluffy with this. I could definitely see Melody imagining something like this and probably freaking out Greyfus if he found out.
