They made TVs that switch between PAL and NTSC. The one I have has converters for different power outlets and everything.

Get a VCR player which handles both PAL and NTSC formats, problem solved.

I think that goes by tape actually. It would let you play either format but it's not a "converter" from one to the other generally.

At least I haven't found one like that, which is why I have a switching TV.

I never thought of myself as one, but the way I live and the stuff I like apparently makes me one *sigh* ...Anyways, yeah, I still have a VCR, and it's plugged in. So I'd kinda like to get me some good old fashioned VHS porn. Will we be able to buy it from Furry Dakimakura?

The Furry Dakimakura table at AC will have then and I believe he's putting them on Furbuy if they don't sell out since it's a pretty limited thing.

And don't feel bad. Keeping old format players around is pretty much a must if you're a movie guy. Too many recent releases are altering too much, and then there are the movies that aren't available at all.

I'm on the wrong side of the country to go to AC, but I'll keep an eye on FurBuy.

Yes. I hate that they cut so much off the top and bottom of every movie for Blu-ray (worse when they stretch to fit, but that was mainly a DVD thing). Then there's the excessive editing. Sometimes you can't even find an original version to download. So yeah, it is kinda nice to have a VCR around sometimes. Even if it mainly just collects dust.

I use my VCR as often as any other player, mainly because I have a large collection of VHS. I didn't convert to DVD for a long time because they were slightly more complicated then just hitting play and I'm impatient.

That makes sense. I use my Ps3 for that exact reason. Everything is right there. Just press X and it's playing. I've got a 1.5TB HDD in it and most of that is filled with video. TV shows, anime and cartoons mainly, because I finally shut off my cable about a year ago. There just aren't enough watchable shows on to make it worth paying for anymore, and the commercials were driving me insane lol.

It's one of the most successful formats ever. Most medium-small companies that did tape printing still do.

Sorry about that, they tend to run out of stock a bit quicker than the DVDs and they're a lot trickier to produce. We'll probably make another run or two at some point, keep an eye out.
