It's interesting comparing his design with Pluto, who's specifically meant to be a bloodhound, how the construction differed over time.
But yeah, Goofy always had solid anatomy, Art Babbitt all but ordered "no rubber limbs, ever, break the joints instead." So seeing the way the flesh hangs off the bone, he would have gotten a kick out of this. So goofy, so toony, but so plausible.
