Just before midnight, June 12th, I grabbed my camera and stepped out for a walk, a very long walk.. 16.4 km (10.19 mi), stretched out over 4-1/2 hrs in darkness. I saw two barn owls, counted 16 bats, and heard 4 coyote packs.

There's a few walnut trees that grow adjacent to the South Alouette River, and willow everywhere.
