Introducing: OTTER BEARS!

The Otter Bears originate from The Crib Folcanig archipelago, a small string of tropical islands, formed by magma runoff from the primary volcano on the Largest island in the chain.

The Arth dŵr tribe (Meaning Water bear) that inhabit the archipelago itself tends to self govern, and separate themselves based upon each person's role within their culture. Seafaring fishers maintain settlements close to the shorelines, while those talented in mining, farming and medicine tend to stray inland further, towards the fertile volcanic soil plains, where plant life and the jungle thrives, as well as great deposits of iron that can be found, used in crafting materials and tools to be traded with the other settlements for items such as food and resources not found in their region.

Physically, they are excellent swimmers, possessing naturally water resistant fur that allows them to swim through the waters with ease, as well as being able to hold their breath for extended periods of time.

Their culture primarily is governed by one's role within the hierarchy, be it fishers, gathers, minders or leaders. At a coming of age ceremony, each individual is presented with a hand-carved staff passed down by the new adults parents, along with one of the colored Topaz stones commonly found in the more mountainous areas to denote their place within the culture. The leaders of each settlement routinely meet to discuss and address the concerns and needs of each individual group of the species.

TRIBE PLACEMENTS:
Healer - GREEN
Healers are the shaman of the tribe, often locater closer to the volcanic areas on the island. These Otter Bears have healing abilities and are knowledgable in light magic.

Prey-Hunter - BLUE
Prey-Hunters are the quick and agile Otter Bears who are responsible to catch prey and feed the tribe. They are excellent swimmers as their main food source is often fish.

Island Guard - ORANGE
Island Guards are the strong and stocky of the tribe. They are responsible for defending the cave from predators. They are also the most experienced with fighting

Kit-Mother - PINK
Kit-Mothers are highly respected within the tribe as they are the mothers and caretakers of the younge. Their job is to nurse and breed kits. These Otter Bears are treated as royalty.

Leader - RED
The Leaders of the tribe are the Otter Bears who are responsible for leading and making decisions and choices for the benefit of the tribe.

Elder - WHITE
Despite the name, Elders are not necessarily old, they are just the most wise and knowledgeable in all the ranks. The elders are responsible for guiding the leaders of the tribe.

Blacksmith - BLACK
The Blacksmiths are the worker bees of the tribe, they are often found in the mines and creating weapons, homes and other essentials for the rest of the tribe.
