Seeing if I can do a comic strip. Not do go all "ZOMG ZOMG I MAEK COMIC" right away since I've burnt out from that before.
The hardest part to me is the WALL OF TEXT problem I seem to get any time I make comics. I think the dialogue is short enough, but making it readable is... ulg. I may see what a double strip would feel like. All I did was take the default 800x600 monitor size and chopped it in half. So we'll shoot for the full amount later.

Yeah, don't want to burn yourself out on comics. I have had mine going for a few years, with a break in between to get things done while moving that took a whole year. xD
I find that using a page format works best for me, 525 x 722. It is larger then that when I draw it and get it all scanned and colored, but I save it to that size for publishing to the web. For dialog I just use the Comic Sans MS font that I have, since my hand writing is barely readable by most. Can change sizes of the font and move it around as needed.
I wish you luck with your new comic TechCat!

Yeah, the wall of text problem stinks. Handwritten text has a nice charm, but for maximum readability, you need a good comic font. ComicSans MS is okay, but way overused to the point where it annoys readers. I've found a lot of good, free comic fonts here: Font River.
