I'm actually creeped out moreso by apes than monkeys. Sometimes monkeys, especially the fluffy colorful ones, can be undeniably cute. I don't like apes and ape-like monkeys because they look too much like people. :S Not in an ''ewww hewmans!'' sort of way, but like...I mean it's ingrained into our brains to find non-human creatures or objects with distorted or unanticipated human characteristics to be unnerving. That's why people are freaked out by androids or ''talking'' animal videos. Apes to me look like really, really ugly people. D:
