Being a bouncer is hard. I know, I've been there myself. Sometimes, you've just got to get away from it for a bit during your shift. It's not that you've got to get away from all the dicks that try your nerve, it's that you've got to get away from the demeanor you sometimes have to fake so the dicks don't bother you.

You put on a mask just to do the job, but that mask starts digging in after a while.

Even someone like Margot here, she's over six foot of strong, Alligator woman and there are few that would want to mess with her anyway. Even she has to put on a mask, to go the extra distance so her night isn't filled with larger species thinking that she might be a push over.

For her, her time to take off the mask in the middle of her night is to pop down into a side alley for a casual smoke. Nothing special, no big ceremony, but that's the point. It's just the cigarette, the dark, and her. She can let down her hair, so to speak, and breath the way she does when she's not on the clock.

Those moments must end, though, and with a few more drags left, she heads back to relieve the wolverine watching the door in her absence. Last call and closing time can't come soon enough for her, but she wouldn't trade her job for anything else in the world...except maybe a steady boyfriend.

This amazing piece is one that I blindsided  blueroses with as a test to expand her skills. No references of this character existed, just the picture in my mind. I think this was an absolute success.
