How my current situation as a Kickstarter backer feels right now.
Mighty No. 9 is as big a disaster as a finished game as it was a game in development. I remember playing the demo on PC and thinking it was average, but the full game I got on my PS3 and I realize that was a mistake because it runs like diarrhea on console, even though the game’s graphics look like they wouldn’t even be passable on the Dreamcast.
I’m pinning all my crowdfunded hopes on Shantae for this year, as the E3 trailers look really good.

We probably would've gone easier on it if it wasn't for the delays. Like if it was released a year ago it would probably have a higher Metacritic score. Honestly it's just a bland game design-wise. Hopefully they plan to patch it so it doesn't run so sluggishly on my PS3, or if I catch it cheap in a steam sale I might give it another shot, since I'm certain my PC can play it better in spite of its poor optimization. And I really feel embarrassed for Inafune; I don't think we should be mad at him (I mean Gunvolt was fine) the production just went very badly. People don't realize that creative projects, games or films or otherwise, have disastrous productions ALL THE TIME. It's just that crowdfunding makes it very public and the internet is not very understanding or forgiving.
The Bloodstained demo is basically perfect. It's just Symphony of the Night with Aria of Sorrow abilities, and that's all it needs to be. Everything controls smoothly, graphics and models are nice, and it's shaping up to be a stellar game. There's absolutely nothing to be concerned about except the possibility of delays, but Iga's never fucked up before so it's probably fine.
