A really quick thing made for a friend who likes birds, because light-hearted fun is always nice.
It's an American Woodcock, in a little Protector coat.
Protectors actually have working animal companions sometimes to help them out in their work, but they are 'useful' animals like rats, hawks, small eagles, owls and dogs, and they will be given coats or vests to let people know not to mess with them.
No Agency would ever permit the use of a woodcock, but I can imagine a group of Protectors keeping one anyway, letting it have a coat of its own. And everyone else would be terrified of it, because if it's a Protector animal companion it must be highly lethal and probably venomous or something.
And in reality it would just waddle around, going: "Heeep! Heeep! :D" while the Protectors laughed at the wonderful joke.
