You're misinterpreting the depth of the picture. I almost did that.
What you're seeing is one fat footpaw above the other. The right leg is lifted in mid-step, and the toes are curled up as it moves forward (there's the claw). The left paw is on the ground keeping balance. This is a common confusion with similarly colored legs that overlap in mid-action.

why do i just have flashbacks to the freakazoid episode with fatman and boy blubbler when the kid lewis gets picked on by the older kids X.x...*finds and watches it* ahhh cause lewis was all cheery before the bullies showed up that was a funny episode ^______^
now back to the art im impressed how you manage to use some form of texturing tool to texture your characters X.x adds a level or realism to thier appearance

Okay, I'm just going touch on a couple of things: first of all, images like this really show off how well you do a big tummy. I really like how you showed the pressure against the stomach. The other thing I absolutely have to mention is how cool you did the tearing clothes, I like seeing the individual threads pulled apart and I think it's a realistic touch you did very well.
As a side note, it's been a while since you drew a image of yourself, I think you've gotten really good with fur effects so it's great to see how cool your tail fur looks. I don't know if I commented on it before, but I do think that's a very neat, unique part of your character design.
Thanks for sharing! ^^

There's a true story I'd heard this morning on NPR's "Morning Edition" (for 2-27-09), in which a suburban school may have banned junk food from its hallway vending machines (for students), but said school staff wants to pass a bill in which the same junk food can be sold in vending machines in the 'faculty lounge'!! Go to www.npr.org for more details...
Awwwwww, that's so adorable! How old was Danny in this picture?
Once again, your attention to detail shows. The threads of the clothes, the scales, the leg pressing against the gut, everything is payed to good attention. At this rate, your whole gallery will be faved by me.
