With every project I do, I like to do a quick character lineup beforehand to help introduce people to the characters in the story. Cantrip the Magic Rabbit</a> is absolutely no different in this regard. Candice Tripp - Discovered abandoned in an old house in the deep outskirts of the town, Candice's past is a mystery, even to herself. Plagued by nightmares in which she's visited by a mysterious stranger, whispers of her past brought up in the most mundane of activities, and bizarre connections to people she doesn't remember meeting, Candice has her hands full. And school starts in just 3 days!

Marigold Flutter - Second eldest of the Flutter clan, Marigold (or Goldie, to her friends) is the glue that helps hold her family and friendships together. She may seem a bight flighty at times, but there's never been a truer friend. Did I mention her raging sweet tooth? Don't get between Goldie and her aphid-chip cookies.

Bianca Featherton - Bianca is the level-headed one of the group, the gal that keeps Candice and Goldie down-to-earth. After the death of her father, Bianca had to grow up fast, but not by choice. She is probably one of the most mature students at Julius Schwartz Memorial High. She's also totally like, the best dresser, yanno?

Dr. Jebediah Tripp - Candice's benefactor, he offered to take in Candice after she was discovered, which seems uncharacteristically kind of him. Though one of Templarsville's most prominent citizens, in recent years he's become reclusive and sullen. Many see his interest in Candice as an attempt at the family he never had, there dark hints that he's got more in mind than meets the eye...

Ms. Abigale McGavin - A social worker-turned-substitute teacher, Abigale is one of the best teachers at the school, so say the administraters that hired her to fill in for the unfortunate Mr. Hochkis. Out of respect for him (as well as building and fire code concerns), she holds her class in the auxillery storage shed. While not actually versed in chemistry, she non-the-less gets the lessons done. She's extremely kind and caring, and is just about the only teacher any of the kids in school will come to with their problems.

Prudence Franklin - One of Julis Schwartz High's more colorful students, Prudence's claim to fame is being struck by lightning in junior high and surviving. She hasn't been (or looked!) the same since, but she's gotten incredibly proficient at dodging and catching small metal items. Don't shake hands with her on a dry day.

Devi Usher - Odd how she happens to show up a Julius Schwartz High not long after Candice and invests a mighty big interest in her. Candice feels that she may have some kind of bond with Devi, but what? And from where? Hopefully it's not from Devi's "extra-curricular" activities, which may include when the Native American Museum got broken into a month ago.

Camille Masterson - A mysterious woman who shows up in Candice's dreams, decked out in Victorian-style finery, and seems to hold some kind of mysterious power over her. Much to Candice's chagrin, there seems to be no record of her in the town history, and Dr. Tripp simply refuses to talk about it. "I'm certain he knows something about her", Candice declares.

The Flutter Siblings - Goldie's family is a tad extensive, but they're as close as can be. Wade, the eldest, has since graduated high school, and works in a garage fixing up cars at their father's car dealership, Hamstead-Flutter Motors, to suppliment his own income until he decides what he wants to do with his life. Ronnie and Randy are, of course, the biggest troublemakers of the lot, causing more headaches together than any one child could accomplish on his own. Trey is the quiet one, but fiercely protective of the youngest of the Flutter clan, baby Jessica. Wade and Goldie are the auxillery parents, as the Flutter clan is more family than any 2 people could handle.

Well, now that we're all acquainted with each other, pack your suitcases and mark your GPS to point towards Templarsville, Oklahoma!
