Ajna and I sort of talked about how she likes my vent art, so I decided I'd use Tee for the next piece I made, instead of Ink. They have some similarities I hadn't noticed before this
So technically this is a commission for her, Tee if you are reading this I can totally make this less shitty/clean it up later if you want.
Any comments about anything besides the art/content will be hidden.

I think when I get sad/angry I fall back on what I know how to do, i.e. anatomy/cloth, I get really surreal/abstract with the backgrounds, and I add in a lot of symbology just because I want the art to speak for itself, and to not have to describe it.
In this case, it's the arrows that I wanted to describe that tension I was feeling--like it's a source of stress from somewhere else, but I could easily knock it away and not worry about it... But instead I choose to embrace it. I kinda like how Tee is almost caressing the arrow.
I'll definitely clean this up for you next time I have the motivation, I think it's a little too sloppy for me to be happy with like it is now. I'm really glad you like it though <3

Yes! The symbology definitely is a big factor for me. I love that you can look at the art and feel the meaning behind, despite the somewhat abstract quality to it. I also love her hand under the arrow! And the tension/source of stress issue is something very relateable for me haha.
