Hey! I save as a .png in my art program (I use Photoshop or SAI depending on the mood) and then I make sure the image size is under 899 pixels on the biggest side, and then when I upload it, it just stays clear lol
There is a way to keep the transparency at a larger size though; just upload your image and then click the link under it that says replace image file, and select the same image again and it will bypass the auto resizer on FA ;)
