These elegant earrings each display a section of real Western Diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) vertebrae that have been cleaned and processed by me. The bones have been whitened to a clean crisp ivory and arranged in their natural and anatomically correct position. The snake was a natural deceased; these earrings are cruelty free.

The bones are enhanced with sterling silver circle links (all linked by hand one at a time) and a single link each of 14k electroplated gold. The delicate 21 gauge fishhook backs are also sterling silver. All silver used is brand new.

The earrings are approximately 2 1/2 inches in length (counting the fishhook back) and they swing nicely with movement. Their weight is 4 grams per earring. Nickel free and stamped with .925 on the fishhooks per the American Stamping Act.

Free upgrade! You can choose a pair of beautiful metallic iridescent beetle wings that I will drill and attach to the silver links at the bottom of the earrings to hang freely. You can choose blue, purple-blue, green or golden orange. There is no charge for this upgrade. This will extend the earrings another full inch. Please include your beetle wing color choice with your order if you'd like this done.
