A piece drawn of one of the former residents of Batworld Sanctuary, an Indian Flying Fox named Poppy, who was retired from a zoo after becoming aggressive towards handlers for being repeatedly pressured into spreading her wings as part of an educational demonstration. At the sanctuary, she was withdrawn until she introduced herself into the resident Egyptian Fruit Bats who became a supportive little bunch and helped her eventually become more comfortable.
