Time for some world building yo~! you know, get some clean SFW art out there once in a while uvu here's some monster designs :D
Anywho, some new Hostiles for y'all! These creatures (or rather the first variant) were once statues of great elite soldiers from days of old. Many years later, The Newborn Initiative brought these creatures to life with the use of Infestors. These creatures are quite skilled and quite tricky to fight. The main gimmick about them is that they are capable of hardening their skin to protect them from physical attacks. Their main weakness is the pulsaing tumor on their back. That's where the Infestor is placed. Attacking that long enough will kill it; therefor killing these things.
-Stoneskin-
The first Varient. Stoneskins are some tricky beasts to deal with. They can turn their bodies to stone to protect them from attacks. However, upon turning to stone, they will become immobile. This is a flaw in their design; however this can be used to their advantage. They carry blunt maces to deal some heavy damage
ATTACKS
-Mace Strike: A standard physical attack with the use of their Mace
-Harden: Turns their skin to stone for attack immunity. Cannot move in this state.
-Trick Swing: The Stoneskins can hardened themselves mid swing. When the opportune moment is given; they'll re-animate and finish their swing. This is a means of decieving and tricking their enemies.
-Stone Strangle: If a Stoneskin grabs their target, they can hardened themselves to remain in their tightened grip. This causes health to decrease over time
-Steelcorpse-
The second and final varient. Steelcorpses are alot more aggresive than their previous counterparts, as they toss away strategic planning and replace it with brute force andd violent tendencies. They can harden their bodies into complete indestructible steel. However, unlike their stone bretheren, they can still move and attack even when Hardened. They now wield a dangerous axe to deal more damage than before.
ATTACKS
-Axe Strike: A standard physical attack with the use of their Axe
-Harden: Turns their skin to stone for attack immunity. Cannot move in this state. They can move and attack freely even when hardened
-Harden Counter. Steelcorpses can harden their weakspots as well. When they've been attacked for too long, they'll immediatly harden quickly. Once an attack had been parried by their steel skin, they'll quickly attack their target while their defenses are lowered. Leaves the target open for more punishment
-Steel Strangle: Health decreases gradually and their grip is alot harder to break.
