...run away and keep running!

So in Hoh Rain Forest we decided to stay away from the small 1mile circle trails and instead go for the 18mile glacier trail. Oh, mind you, we didn't take the full hike due to lack of time. But choosing the less frequented trail was rewarded by meeting some of the locals, for example a group of cow elks.

Of course being the tourists that we are we read the warning on them only later. But ten again... seriously? What would your reaction be if you are being chased by a pissed cow elk?
