Epiphany (Pif) has just had her carefully thought-out plans rejected by the Council of Changeling Queens, and she is furious and frustrated. She tells her Auntie Luna that if she only had more data, she could have been more precise and convincing. Luna tells the seventeen year old changeling that what she lacks is experience. Pif then realized that Luna has centuries of experience to draw upon, and that is when she makes her horrible mistake. She lets her desperate hunger for knowledge overwhelm her common sense, and Luna reacts with concern.
