Over the plateau, there was what seemed to be a base that was burning in ruin.
"I already don't like the looks of this." D said, but Artison had already ran to the place "Thank god he asked for company." he sighed to himself and ran after him.
Looking over the place, Artison's ears lowered we he spotted green corpse after green corpse. "What happened here? And why?"
"We should leave." D said "Suppose what ever did this is still around."
"But what if there are survivors?" Artison asked "What if they need help, or could aid us?" And he began to look about the buildings.
"The people who are still alive here may be the ones who caused all this!" D shouted frustrated "How do we know they won't just kill us too?"
Artison still kept looking about, but he didn't answer for a moment "These may still tell us about the world we've entered. We've already learned this is a place of war, and a rather advanced one in the realms of technology."
"That's fine and good, but this places showed they weren't the best at defense either." D added "We won't be safe here, especially with this base in this condition. Could we please go?"
"Fair enough." Artison said and started with D back toward how they got in.
Something suddenly stopped him though, there was something still moving.
"Artison?"
The wolf walked over to what looked like just moving rubble, but around the turn was a living alien. it wasn't like the rest, however, it was bigger, and had purple fur with neon green and blue markings in it. The alien was coughing for air, but it could only cough out green fluid over and over again. Artison tried to get closer, but the effort seemed to easy, it was oblivious to his approach.
"Oh dear..." Artison murmured as he looked over the being. He then knelt down and took a better look.
it didn't look too cut up, maybe a scar on the leg, but what seemed to be broken was a cable on its head.
Artison reached out to it and grabbed both end.
D saw what he was doing his ear lowered "What do you think you're doing?"
"He needs help..." Artison said and he brought the cable ends closer together. The wires inside reconnected, which left Artison only to weld the outer shell of the cable back together.
As he did, the creature began to stir more...
