This is a picture I drew for the Eurofurence 22 art show August 17 - 22 in Berlin. It will be available as a unique print.
With the 80s theme of this years Eurofurence, my inspiration and influenced came from different types of cyberpunk media. My favorite among the games are Deus Ex and its prequel Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
So when I tried to come up with a picture that would fit the style and tone of the games, I wanted to go in a different direction rather than showing cybernetic limbs or other sci-fi prosthetics. Instead my inspiration came from the office of David Sarif, a character in Human Revolution.
What struck me about the games' design was that it combined high-tech with Renaissance style furniture and details, so I tried to reflect that as well in the picture. The result is one that I am really happy with, as many different influences and details helped this picture take form and come alive - for instance the fact that I tried to come up with a piece of footwear that would fit a high class business man, but would not be a full shoe that covers ones feet.
In the end, I hope you guys enjoy this picture as much as I did drawing it! :3

Mrrrr... I really like the scruffy look of his cheek ruffs and chin. Also, an important point for every CEO who thinks highly of themselves is a good sense of fashion. I really love the design for his footwear. And of course the suit...
Wouldn't mind going on a "business dinner" with him
