Regulars to my gallery might recognise Tiara Thompson (Tara's metaphoric ancestor) and Cobalt Blue, who are in this picture meeting for the first time. Believe it or not these two are about to become close friends.

The backstory is somewhat complex, and I might try recreating it over the weekend, but the short version is that Tiara is currently a 'guest' of the Dranfel (Generic Alien invader #59264) being held in their base under the antarctic, and wants to escape in the finest traditions of the British Army. She was of course striped of all her weapons, but this was not a problem for someone used to the concept of beg, borrow, or steal - and if all else fails, make it yourself. Tara still had her heavy combat boots, and her mecha 'flight suit'.

All she needed was someone to open the door...
