Hmmm, I wonder why :-P
AAAaah okay so I finally decided to try out Clip Studio Paint Pro! it was a pain but I think I did a pretty decent job for my first attempt. Trying to draw on a Vector layer is a pain but the eraser is godly so I pushed through it. Once I figured out with type of shading I wanted to do, I was pretty set. (the blend tool is my best friend) I didn't get to play with textures or very many of the special brushes but I can always do that another time.

Yes, it saves so much time over manually inking. I do lose that "organic" feeling but the time saving more than makes up for it. I wish I knew about it years ago.
