Partial storyboard of the Guillermo del Toro script for the Hellboy movie's initial sequence, one of my final assignments. We weren't allowed to adapt the entire script (and there wasn't enough time to do so, either). There are a few issues in regards to some of the frames, and how I organized the sequences, but overall I am content.

Huh, so it's different from the released movie because in that they found a young monkey boy with the key arm already attached to him and in this one it's some guy that puts the arm on and becomes Hellboy. That's an interesting difference.

No... the only thing I know about Hellboy is the movie. I've never read the comics or anything like that.

... this is literally the intro sequence from the movie, where Grigori Rasputin performs his ritual to summon a miracle for the Nazis.

OH.. I thought that the opening sequence for the movie was when an archeologist discovers the red monkey creature that grows up to be Hellboy. It's been a really really really long time.
