Looking at this now ( it being relatively old) the hat looks wonky to me, but I still kind of dig the colouring, so I post.
From a paintchat thinger. I did the lineart there, and managed to grab a clip of my lines before the canvas was DELETED. So I coloured it in photoshop, which makes it look BLAR because the lines are all pixely and the colouring is all SHMOOOOSH.
This pic bothers me the more I look at it, so imma post before I decide not to.
OH. Drew this after a long watching of Moulin Rouge. OHEMGEE sad movie. Music was nice. X3
BLA ME and backgrounds ><

It's got a sort of Willy Wonka (as played by Johnny Depp) vibe to it. I don't recall having seen Moulin Rouge, so if my perception is off, blame my lack of moviegoing :)
If you still have the lineart, it's probably possible to trace them into a larger image and color that the same way to 'rescue' the image at a more appropriate resolution. But I don't have PS so I couldn't tell you more--I've only done it with vector drawing programs.
Still a nice moody piece, however.

Thanks :)
I can imagine Illustrator's madness, though I haven't used it. The first few pics in my gallery are vector pics, but I did them with Deneba/ACD Canvas, an old (but full) version of which I got off one of those UK computer magazine CD's--register the install and use it indefinitley.
I actually taught myself to use it from its help files and inspiration from a 'How to Draw Manga'(with Flash) book, in a few days.
