I have loved Tim Burtons work for a long time now, and something about his style just speaks to me. And after I saw a few pictures of classic disney movies drawn in a Tim Burton inspired style, I felt the need to try it out myself.
So, this picture, as well as the title, are both inspired by his works. (Title is a slightly altered version of the first line from Tears to shed from Corpse Bride)
While it's not an exact copy of his style, it's as close as I can get with my own skill.
And in all honesty, I haven't been this happy with one of my drawings in a long time. ;w; <3
So, I have decided that for art practise (and to test just how much my new medicine helps me focus), I am going to test several different art styles out and see if maybe I can learn a few tricks here and there to improve my own art.
I hope that will take me at least a couple steps closer to where I want to be with my art. <3
