In the game, if the killer gets you and puts you to an hook in order to sacrifice you, there is going to build up a spiderlike thing from hell around the hook and if nobody comes to rescue you, it will impale you if you can not manage to struggle enough and drag you to hell afterwards. These scythes there look pretty similar to the one on your cat here in my opinion. Even though yours look more wicked cause of the spikes and all that. I really like that design.
That game sounds like it'd be really difficult. o__O But fun.
I might have to check it out and see if my computer can handle it. (Probably not, since the interior graphics is kind of old, but I can try.)
Truth be told, this guy's/girl's weapons were inspired by how a praying mantis' arms work, but instead of grabbers, they're scythes.... Well, technically they could grab their prey with them, but it'd be all cut up by the spikes and blades. XD
