At a much-anticipated meeting in Switzerland this week, the International Olympic Committee affirmed the decision by the International Association of Athletics Federations — the global organization that oversees track and field — to ban Russia’s track and field team from the upcoming Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro because of growing evidence of widespread, state-supported drug cheating among Russian athletes.
The funny part is that catnip was amongst the substances found...
Looks like Sylvia Siamese and Norma Bates Kitteh have pulled another fast one.
But was it on gullible Russian athletes? Or gullible reporters?
One thing's for sure: The spirit of P. T. Barnum lives on...
