Today I got a few new coloured pencils, a better brown and some turquoise's for Seashell's hair, so I did a little badge of her ^_^ I also actually feel in the mood to draw anthros omg! Although I can't do the body eek. XD
The ears are not really right for her ears. Actually I realised they look a bit like
savannahhorrocks's Aya's ears, but were more based on this mouse girl I drew ages ago. I won't be drawing ears like that in general, but I do want to develop my anthro style a bit more. ^^ I don't really like drawing Seashell as a feral lion in my style, she is kinda more of my anthro character (whereas Xandy and Watermelon are almost always feral).
I do love how her hair came out, and using stickers in her hair, and an excuse to use my white gel pen AGAIN. Also I have TONS of coloured card now <3
PS. Cropped this kinda badly because I photographed it rather than scanning again - HATE scanners. XD

:D I absolutely love the choice of colours here Xandy, especially the Turquoise *^..^* They all give such a wave washed seafoam ocean feel to her And your not at all excused for the use of gelpens.. They're fantastic The way you made the hi-lights in the hair are soo punchy and vibrant
And you could not have found a more perfect use for that sticker, not only do the colours compliment the background and her eyes and face, but it really ties the whole thing together.
And BTW..... I'm drawing something for you..... I don't know if I can say for sure yet, but from how its going soo far, I am freaking psyched to show it to ya Arggg, I've said too much >.< (want to spoil everything, must resist urge to post unfinished work >.>) *Hugs for another bright moment in my day

Aww, thank you Kantra It was kinda expensive to buy pencils on their own, but worth it, since in the packs I never have quite the right colours ^^ I'm not sure if you can see but I also got a new white pencil used on her t-shirt, its a bit more vibrant than my old one :D
I lovee using the white gel pen.. XD On her ears it didn't work so well cos you can see the black through :( But never mind! Putting things in her hair is so fun :3 Eee. I just..need to learn how to draw anthro bodies. Argh. XD
And, OMG, drawing for meee ? :D Eeek. *excited* I know what you mean I can't resist hinting about that kinda thing :3
Also I must not neglect Beet-lion for too much longer!! Traditional art is just so fun now though, it makes things drawn with the tablet seem less..shiny. XD

I love her heaps. She's just so pretty & fun and I LOVE the concept of her - I can really picture her just lounging around a beach at night, with a bag o' shells - and Sambuca coming up with hotdogs all; "HEY LOOK I HAVE HOTDOGS", all fresh + dreaded, slightly high from his day at the Amsterdam coffee house...*L* so he trips over her shells and she's like "WTF YO SAMBUCA YOU PRIZE TWAT."
Sorry for that image. X) Haha!
Seeeriously though: I love these badges. You should make a series of them with ALL your characters then make a mini character website! OOH YES. Or something. *L* Or put 'em on Flickr as refs? They're just such a sweet idea. I'm thinking of making a character site. *RAMBLES*.
I love the colourscheme chosen here - those muted colours + Seashell just WORK.
