This is either an alternative scenario (where he runs into Daryl instead of Clem), before he runs into Clem, or after he managed to escaped Clem's stomach somehow (maybe humans give her indigestion).
GTB23 had a really good idea to make his encounter with Clem a dream sequence, but I wanted it to be a bit more ambiguous.

Someone needs to teach Daryl not to talk with her mouth full! It's really rude. More so here, considering the person she's talking to is getting bounced around by her tongue.
Still, I'm thinking he's got a slightly better chance of survival with Daryl instead of Clem. She might let him go or even help him out if he survives being her fish bait.
