They're part of the Bovidae family and thus are Bovid. But, at the same time, they're not -Bovine- specifically. Apparently they're very similar terms, but Bovidae is the family of animals consisting of cloven-hoofed animals in general such as gazelles, goats and sheep. Bovine in specific relates to cattle, such as cows and buffalo.
