Yeah, I flipped over to the contest page through your link. It's pretty cool how they split up all the tracks for you like that. I was wondering how some of the people doing these remixes managed to isolate everything so well.

Took a look at the current top 30 on the contest site, and honestly I believe yours deserves to be in the top 3 to be sure. Dunno how some of the other ones got up that high, really. There were at least half a dozen I couldn't even bear to listen to the whole thing - poorly matched keys, completely missed timing, ugh. XD

Yeah, that's one of the issues I've had with the whole thing. Number 2 should be number 1, number 8 shouldn't exist... Too many people tried to turn it into a rap song. One person even took the lyrics and just pasted them into the background music of Linkin Park's In The End! That's completely against the rules of the contest! And yet it's in the top ten.

It's a little frustrating, but I'm not losing hope. I just need to be in the top 25 before the end of April so that I get a chance to have it heard by EA. >_<

nice, i checked out the sight, do you have to use their stuff? cuz i didnt use the vocals and changed the tune on the piano to change the mood of it. would they still take that?

I don't think they'd turn it down, but I don't know if you'll get very far with the competition with THAT much of a tweak. I know for me, I like the track for it's vocals. The piano part is great, but it doesn't really make the whole song. You can always try for it, though. You won't really know until you try it.

I love this song I ain't got the game yet but I will in a few months but I'm still playing the demo.

Yes ! A remix that stays true to the original song <3 I've been so disappointed by some of the remixes I've found on youtube. I hope you did well in the contest, it definatly deserves a better chance than the other remixes.
