Yesterday I posted an image from my dreamscape where Petina and Jackie start experimenting with forms of liquid breathing so Petina could truly start exploring aquatic living. Going under
Well it happens that they decided to conduct the experiment on Rosemary's computer desk, so while I was helping Jackie move some large items of her desk Rosemary came in and sat down to write some emails. Then she discovered she had a new paperweight on her desk.
Now Rosemary has known Petina since 1994 so the skunk is pretty jaded now to the little mouse's antics, still it catches her off guard for a moment.
I hope you like what you see. Please help make more art like this possible by supporting me at Patreon

Would shaking it even work? Perfluorocarbon is dense and thicker than water, but how dense? If it's denser than a mouse in fetish garb, she'll act as an accelerometer and move the wrong way. If she's at neutral buoyancy (due to density not weight), and it's totally full, she'll barely move at all!
Actually, reminded me of part of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, where the good doctor is seeking the help of a colleague to make a bride for the monster. Said colleague had spent many years making living miniature beings, including a mermaid.
Just weird, pay it no mind.

Oh, free and waving, just to avoid being confused with the real thing (which would be half their size). Sort of like a "chicken wing" mascot costume. Petina and Jackie would be standing on a plate being held up by Rosemary.
Hmm. Maybe instead of "Hooters", the place would be called "Biggums / Littlums". (I'm considering "Kitties" for a couple of feline characters.)

A surprise to be sure, but not an unwelcome one. Having a mer-mouse ball could very relaxing to watch if you ever have a few moment of writer's block, or just need a little mental break in general. Who needs a smartphone when you can just watch a happily little mouse in fins lazily swim around in a ball? ^_^
