"My mane knows this wind,
like a place I'd once been.
My feet know the ground
and my claws make the sound
like they had made as a younger me.
Storms abounded once upon a place.
When drops of rain fall onto my face
my toes squeezed a sandy white mound
my nose a scent of petrichor found
the Earth's own breath I sense and see.
These things are here, as they were there.
But some I have seen else no where.
Sky of lovely bodies and light!
Land lit in half day and half night!
Home's where you find your beauty."

Yet, he doesn't over-work or over-play swells. He knows how to do 'epic' the -right way-. So many other composers use some gimmick to attempt 'epic'. They often wind up over-using an instrument, for example, think of Horner's use of the anvil in various tracks off the Titanic soundtrack. Clanging metal, over-used, over played, and it just comes off as cheap. Contrast that with what Fox here did with 'Myre'. Proper builds, proper use of the right instruments in the right rolls. He has other examples, but that is one that achieves 'rump kicking for your ears' without falling into one of those tropes. Builds properly, from a heartfelt start, till your heart is pounding in time with the drum beats... It is not easy to pull that off, and have it come across as genuine. To have it be deep, and meaningful, yet grow to that level of power. Fox has that gift, in spades.
I am always wondering how is he doing it... Most of the times, when I find good music author the music gets less effective on me with time. When I get used to the style it just loses this ability co give me strong emotions. But HIS music is just so... diverse, so many different flavours. Every one perfect, and even the older songs I can listen and still feel the same emotions when listening to the for the first time, even if a bit less... I is just so unique. I am actually feeling bad for being so broke that I can't throw more money his way.
Wow this is sooo calming. I love it. That's besides my usual taste of music which consists of metal and modern music I listen to normally. I mean not only furries would love to buy off you but with the music like that, I think you could be in the market in composing music for cosplay performers. If you can make that music work well with
TienLong's solo act in this years AC masquerade, I'm sure you could make some music I could use in my future cosplay performance as Bruzo. My main intended primary fursona!

Beautiful, very calming mystical sound in the beginning, and then it turns slightly darker and more emotional, and on top of that a layer of hope, and that's only in the first 2 minutes.
I don't know how you pull it off all the time. I just came back after a long hiatus from this website. Maybe we can work on some music again, whenever you find the time for it :)

Sorry for the response being a year late. But still love to say I really enjoy this piece.
I love the mix of piano, strings, and flutes in the whole song. Gives a Celtic and mystical fantasy feeling to the whole thing. Especially how the music gets more tense and has a chorus to it. Pretty epic. Very incredible piece of music you made.
