A fox, named Danny, and a wolf, Tingo, having been mates for several years, decided to go for a vacation in Mexico, staying in a small town on the Yucatan peninsula. Wanting to go off the beaten path somewhat, they took a guided tour of a local cave one day, being a little tired of seeing endless Mayan temple ruins. The adventurous Tingo let curiosity get the best of him, taking him and his mate Danny off through a never-explored side-tunnel in the cave. What happens next takes them by complete surprise.

This is an illustration of a mid-length story I wrote, called The Dangers of Cave Exploration. I have a non-illustrated version of it already in my gallery, and I'm posting the illustrated version of the story as well, if you would like to read that rather than look at a sort of comic.
