"What causes the dead to rise? I don't know, but I've seen enough during my career to understand that when they do, they are always driven by a single, powerful emotion or need. This last vestige of what they were in life; it consumes them. It becomes the very essence of their being, and they will blindly lay waste to anyone and any thing that would keep them from it. Life is not fair to most of us at times but when that unfairness kills you, you might want justice. You might want vengeance. You might want it badly enough to reject the peace of a watery grave. The Camp was supposed to have been abandoned, but legends that never die attract the foolhardy. Now there was blood on the lake...and the creature, an impossible dead thing, standing on the dock cloaked in the dark of the night in his heavy, soaked clothes. He was bound to the camp; all I had to do was distract him long enough for the surviving teens to evacuate the grounds. I knew going in that there was no defeating the creature. As a superhero, I knew very well just how powerful of a driving force things like vengeance and justice could be, and that was all this thing was; however blind or misguided."

For 2016, Furry Weekend Atlanta's theme was Camping. This was something that I -had- to do.
