Jamie and Ollow both joined the Order of the knights of the Temple of Solomon also known as the poor knights of Christ most commonly known as the Templar. Both brothers back home in England were fooling around and they burnt down a church as for their punishment they had to serve as penance.

As the brothers received their posts; they began their patrols in the Anatolian countryside guarding the roads from Turkish raiders and bandits. One day they stopped at a small town to get their horses new shoes before continuing their duty. Ollow met a lovely young snow leopard and wouldn't stop talking about her to his brother as they walked around the town waiting on their horses. Jamie had to remind Ollow of his vows which he grumblingly agreed. The year past with Ollow meeting her a few more times on patrol and when their penance was up Ollow left the Order in 1186, He met with the snow leopard and they married before returning to England. Jamie however agreed to serve for another five years.

As both brothers parted Jamie was given his new posting, Jerusalem, as Ollow headed for home Jamie went to the holyland where he would die. Jamie would die on the walls of the holy city defending the crusader flag from Saladin's troops. His body was snuck out of Jerusalem and returned home to the Hellsing's castle. Their father had past earlier the year and Ollow was the new lord of the castle. As Jamie's body entered his home and was taken to his resting place his brother kissed his forehead before his body was sealed in the Family crypt.
