A grin came across the bat’s face, as he and his ‘co-worker’ of sorts strolled down the strip. This was the first time in a while he found himself in this position, as in having no sight of that doof of a lion anywhere, and most importantly, being at the normal height that the powers that be intended him to have. While he was at his regular height at five feet tall, the bat was still a midget in comparison to the rabbit by his side, Crystal.
They’ve both had some odd moments together in the last couple of months, most of them taking place when AJ was at his defenseless small size, thanks to the same klutz who also happened to be a thief as well, considering he held his shrink watch hostage in an effort to boost hype for his shows. However, the details on the execution of that idea he’d like to leave at the shows themselves, as does his assistant, Crystal.
Having her casual clothes, consisting of her sweatshirt and jeans for a change, as usual something seemed to be bothersome still. Whether it was the feeling Dandy was always watching her, or the mild annoyance of her ‘friend’s’ smirk accompanied by a gaze, she couldn’t decide. It wasn’t until the bat cleared his throat her deadpan gaze was exchanged for an attentive expression.
“So, this is nice.” he said. “Weather’s nice, town’s alive, and the… uhh…” his attention shifted to the sky, trying to think of more to add to his sentence, however words failed him like always.
Crystal let out a sigh, breaking the awkward silence of his. “Is there any reason you took me to Paris? You’re lucky I was able to have a clear schedule for this.” she folded her arms. This had the bat snap his head back towards her, and momentarily after he began to laugh. The rabbit raised an eyebrow. “What’s so funny?”
AJ took a bit to take a deep breath after that, but it was clear he was struggling to keep a straight face. “S-since when did you start having plans?” Again, shortly after, another spasm of laughter struck him, beginning to hit a nerve on Crystal.
“Well, At least I’m not a magnet to others’ gas pedals.”
With that his laughter died out in an instant. Another period of silence came about between the two again, as they continued their merry way down the main street.
