ZX1-A12 is one of only 227 ZX1 series astromech droids that had been constructed by Gibdel Astro Corporation and is one of 200 still in operational order. ZX1-A12 served aboard the Venator Class Star Destroyer "Glory of Alderaan" under the command of Admiral Kavion Ralter during the Clone Wars and as such, saw action alongside the clones of the 798th Legion.
