Oh goodness. I cant afford copics. Would if i could but i cant bring myself to spend that kind of money. I mean, theyre great quality but they wouldnt improve the quality of my work enough to justify spending that much on em. >__>
I mean, if i ever did get the money, i wouldnt mind switching to copics even for color as well. Id love doing that.
Just cant afford all the colors id need. xD
Also, your name makes me think youd like this human piece I did. Hes got angel wings and is holding the sun and melting. He should be in my commission folder.

That name was 'freakin ancient, wanted to change it many a time, but I'll certainly take a look!
And yeah, the only reason I can afford it is because as a just recently graduated highschool student,t I don't have much else to spend cash on. Not like I would buy anything else except other art stuff, hehe! Got about 200$ worth of copic markers.

One day, though, id LOVE to get my hands on a good chunk of colored markers (probably gonna cost me around 50-100$) and use those instead of my colored pencils. I bet the quality would be super awesome then. :3
But i gotta start snagging larger paying pieces before i can do that.
Maybe when i go on my hiatus in a couple of months, to do my paintings, i can sell one or two of em and snag some markers. =P

They must be nice! The ones my mum uses are about $25 a book, I don't have a specific brand, mine range anywhere from $2 to $10 per book. But one of our art stores has really decent prices for good quality.
I bet that would look fantastic, though I think your coloured pencil work is so smooth already that at first I thought it was marker. I'd love to see what you can do with pure marker.
I hope you can! I got my Copics by saving change in a jar for a while, so maybe you could try that too to supplement the cost.

Some of mine are larger and cost around 15-20$ but the smaller ones I get range from 5-15$.
Theres no art store around me. Id have to drive an hour so i order from Dick Blick online. They have good deals. I just have to wait until i have like 100$+ to spend on art supplies so that i can get free shipping and make it worth it.

Not sure but shipping in the US is around 13$ unless you get like 69$+ worth of stuff, then its free. Maybe its the same for canada. Wouldnt hurt to look i suppose.
